Being a destination wedding photographer in Houston, I have the opportunities to go to a lot of places. This time, it is Tulum, Mexico. The wedding of Christine and Nick’s was one that was beautiful like so many girls’ dreams. Luckily, I had the chance to witness and document their wedding as a photographer. I arrived at Dreams Resort in a stormy night but fortunately, the next morning was very gorgeous. The beach and the sky could not get anymore blue – what a destination wedding photographer’s dream!

The whole wedding was beautiful! I couldn’t stop admiring how pretty the light, the cake and the candles were. Christine did a fantastic job in planning and decorating the wedding. Even though the wedding ceremony was moved from the beach to the indoor hall, it was nothing but perfect. Looking back at the photos, a destination wedding photographer like me couldn’t be more emotional. I saw smiles, laughters, and even tears here and there. But honestly, I think the air and the breeze at Tulum made everyone looked so happy and excited overall. And the dance floor was packed most of the time and wine was continuously served. After all, Christine and Nick were the happiest couple of the night. And I could do nothing but click my camera as fast as I could and wish them the very best for their future together.

I was so lucky to be Christine and Nick’s wedding photographer. It was a wedding to remember! I cannot wait to see the next place being a destination wedding photographer takes me to!

Every wedding holds something special. There will always be different details, elements, and moments at each wedding that you go to. And that is one of my favorite things about weddings – that no two are alike! Being Taylor and Juan’s Missouri City wedding photography company was an absolute honor. We captured their beautiful day at Heaven on Earth in Missouri City where every detail came together perfectly. From hair and makeup, dresses and suits, smiles and kisses captured – everything about their day was absolutely amazing.

One of my favorite moments to capture are the ones between the bride and her father. Whether that be a first look, the daddy/daughter dance, or other moments that happen throughout the day. When a bride does a first look with her dad, it is a completely different level of emotional! It’s such a special moment between the two as he sees his little girl for the first time before she walks down the aisle. The first time Taylor’s dad saw her, emotions filled the room! You could see how much he loved his daughter and that he was so proud of her. Capturing their first look and their daddy/daughter dance are special moments they will be able to cherish as they look back on that special day.

Timeless Crystal Ballroom Houston Wedding

On a gorgeous summer day in Houston, Texas, a couple completely ready to begin their lives together said “I do” with their loved ones in attendance. All of the hard work and preparation after their emotional mountain top engagement was finally coming to a close as they got ready to vow their lives to one another. Their special day took place at the historic Crystal Ballroom in the Houston’s Rice Hotel. Every detail came together perfectly. From the dresses, suits, hair and makeup, floral arrangements… Let’s just say that the Crystal Ballroom Houston looked like a fairytale come to life!

Their perfect day…

With makeup done and a smile that could light up a room (which it did) Lee Ann was ready to walk down the aisle to her future.

When Lee Ann met Ryan at the altar, you could see the love and adoration they have for eachother. Their love filled up the whole ballroom, that’s for sure! Their vows were sweet poetry to each other’s ears just for one another. You could tell that in that moment, this is what they’ve been waiting for!

After their ceremony, we had some of the most perfect lighting for portraits! (A photographer’s favorite.) We went downstairs and walked around Texas St getting some great moments of the two of them together, in that moment, eyes focused on just each other. Not to mention, we had a total blast and filled the streets of Downtown Houston with laughter.

The rest of the night went off without a hitch. Dancing all night long, a painter came and painted their event, and great music, laughter, and hugs flooded the room on July 9th.

This couple featured today has so much love for one another. It’s something that can be seen through their smiles and kisses shared in the photos. It was such a joy to capture this time in their lives at the precious Little G Farm. Little G Farm is located on the south side of Houston and it was the perfect spot for this engagement session.

Location:

The Little G Farm is one of the best spots around for photo shoots. With 4 acres of open field, a pond, and gorgeous oak trees, this location made this Little G Farm engagement session one to remember! All of the different elements at this farm called for something different in every photo! (And as a photographer, that’s something I love!)

The Couple:

We were truly able to highlight this couple during their Little G Farm engagement session. With the different elements that the location offered to the sunset perfect pictures, this beautiful couple and I really enjoyed our time together at the farm, capturing the true, unyielding love that they share.

Tips:

Photographing any type of session at the Little G Farm can be quite fun and adventurous. They welcome families, engagements, commercial photography, and even video shoots to come out and use their property! Some tips I’d like to share would be to definitely make sure to utilize as many elements on the property as possible. If you are doing a family session, go above and beyond and use some of the animals that they have. If you’re going for an engagement session, definitely utilize sunset to get some great romantic photos that really show off the couple!

I recently packed up all of my camera gear, hopped on a plane, and traveled to Las Vegas to photograph a very special Las Vegas wedding. It was the wedding of a childhood friend, which are the photos that are featured here today, but that isn’t the only reason it was so special to me. This wedding was also special because I absolutely love to travel! It’s always a great feeling when you get the opportunity to step out of the element that you’re used to and get to a place that you don’t get to go very often and do your favorite thing – and my favorite thing is to photograph weddings!

I am happy to say that I have multiple destination weddings under my belt. It not only includes this Las Vegas wedding, but I have been everywhere from places in the U.S., to Mexico, and Thailand! How cool is that?

The Graham’s Pecan Springs Wedding

The Graham’s Pecan Springs Wedding – Jessi Marri Photography

On a perfect Spring day in March, family and friends came from all over to celebrate the union on Brandon and Jenny. The atmosphere during the whole day was absolutely amazing and it went by smoothly, just what this amazing couple deserved for their big day!

When it came time or these Aggies to see each other for the first time, you could see the emotion written all over their faces. This had to have been one of the best first looks I’ve witnessed because you could see the love and beauty that was soon to come together as husband and wife.

Throughout the ceremony, you could see the love and how proud their bridal party, fellow Aggies, family, and friends were of this couple. You could tell just how truly happy they were to be there to witness such a special moment for this couple.

When you walked into the reception, it was as if all of the decor and pieces in there were meant to be there and it all just came together so perfectly, exactly what this couple pictured for their wedding day!

Besides this Pecan Springs wedding being on a perfect Spring day, the day was a blast! There was tons of dancing and laughter that filled the rest of the night with so much joy!
