Two Hearts Studios, launched at the top of 2015, is a Houston Wedding Photography company consisting of six Houston-based members. Started by Jessi Marri as a sub-brand of Jessi Marri Photography, the Two Hearts Studios brand is focused on the creative individualism that each of our members brings to the table. Our collective effort, experienced leadership, and exchange of ideas allows us to provide our customers both great products and great service. When Jessi Marri started shooting photography for weddings, she was averaging 12 weddings a year. Now, as one of many photographers in the Houston Weddings industry, she averages 59 weddings a year, and found the need to expand her company. Thus – Two Hearts Studios was created. However, once Two Hearts was establish, Jessi needed photographers that fit her standard of creative photography, great workmanship and expert customer serviceability.

Ever since I was young I can remember having a love for the media arts, rather if that was video, live events, or computer graphics. And I have been shooting and editing for the past five years. Storytelling is another thing that I am passionate about, which I usually express through the writing and performing of poetry. But, I want to take these two passions and put them together in a way that doesn’t just capture your special day but truly brings it to life.

I have been a photographer for 15 years and have loved every minute of it. During those 15 years I have photographed everything from babies, families, events, school dances, seniors, engagements and weddings. 5 years ago I decided to turn my focus more towards Weddings, Engagements, and Bridals and of course babies! I am blessed to be able to experience 2 of the most amazing days of a persons life… their wedding day and the birth of their children. Who wouldn’t love this job! I have been shooting with Jessi Marri since Early 2013, and when she asked me to join Two Hearts Studios, I couldn’t say no!

Ladies and Gentlemen… Meet Hiral AKA Roy. Roy has been shooting since 2013 and joined the Two Hearts staff in early 2015. He is very passionate about providing clients with beautiful images that reflect their natural personalities. He is fun, light hearted and GREAT at using his sense of humor to pull out those natural smiles for the camera!

Jesse (Second Photographer/Administrative Assistant) – Joined Two Hearts Studios: Late 2015

A lover of great photography and pepperoni pizza, Jesse has been doing photography since early 2012. While his skills range from audio engineering, video production, web design, and more, photography has recently gotten all his love and affection. “Capturing those intricate moments in one’s life in an artistic way – utilizing an angle or engaging lighting – motivates me to do more and more.” With a smile and an easy-going personality, Jesse is sure to get shots you will love.

The Wedding Photographer Life 

The life of a wedding photographer is full of precious moments. Shooting in one of the largest cities in America, I have the honor of shooting weddings on a weekly basis. Everyone knows that from start to finish the day is packed with special memories. This is why it is so important to select a photographer that you trust and have confidence will do the best job for you. One of my favorite moments of the day is seeing the grooms face when he sees his bride for the first time on the wedding day. Whether they do a first look or his first glimpse of of her walking down the aisle; his face always reflects the love he feels in his heart.

Another one of my favorite moments, as a wedding photographer, is always when the father gets to see his little girl all dolled up for the first time on the wedding day. Every dad responds differently of course but its the ones that get really emotional that make the best photos. I love when a father cant help but weep as he gushes with the emotions of seeing his daughter all done up and about to make one of the biggest commitments of her life. The bond between a father and a daughter is special and I like when I am able to capture the bond in a tangible way with my photographs.

Its always really fun to see what special thing the groom does for his bride on their wedding day. Some couples will celebrate with special gifts the night before at the rehearsal dinner. Others will give their gifts on the wedding day. Some couples will exchange letters or cards expressing their deepest feeling of love for each other. It’s always really exciting though when you get one of those really bold grooms who decides to go all out for his bride. I have gotten to see choreographed dances put together by the groom and his groomsmen. I have gotten to see really hilarious garter removal moments. But one instance that stand out most in my memory is of a groom who decided to sing a song to his bride during the reception. His groomsmen helped him out of course but it was that moment of the wedding day that sealed in my mind the impossibility if this couple ever parting ways.

I am so lucky to be a wedding photographer! I found my passion at a very young age and I have pursued it non-stop since I was a teenager. It is an honor and a privilege to be able to do something that you love so much and watch as it brings such overwhelming joy to your clients. I am looking forward to many more years to come in the future as a wedding photographer and all the special memories I will get to capture!
